Despite being an Architecture Festival, it is by no means just for trained architects. Each year LFA invites contributions from across the city, industry and beyond to form the final programme in June. Within that programme lies activities and projects that speak and engage people at all different stages of life, career and closeness to architecture and the city. Whatever your interest, there’s something for everyone in the LFA.

The pages below break down the programme for specific audiences or interest areas, including around our LFA2024 Call to Action, events for and by students, family centred activity and our well-loved Studio Lates programme—which returns with a slight twist. Cultural partners

Each year we work with our cultural and international partners to take conversations about architecture and our city beyond their usual spaces and audiences, as well as beyond the physical boundaries of our city.

This year’s contributions include conversations around how to design spaces to wider access to culture, and projects rethinking the future of heritage and materials.

LFA2024 Call to Action

As part of our 20th anniversary, we’ve asked our community to reimagine public spaces and put people back at the heart of the city. Whether it’s showcasing public realm projects, closing streets, delivering thoughtful interventions and activations, these activities rethink our spaces and how they are used.

While some of these projects temporarily reimagine our public spaces, we hope they capture the public’s imagination and inform long term meaningful changes across our city.

Studio Lates

Whether you’re a student, emerging architect or curious about the people that shape the city you live in, the Studio Lates programme offers a unique opportunity to see the behind the scenes of London’s leading architectural and design practices.

In four clusters across the city, you’re invited to learn from architects and designers, get a sneak peek of projects in practice, or attend workshops and design surgeries.
