Celebrating 40 years of the Hopkins studio building and its use of Patera, the revolutionary mass produced system for standardised buildings.
The event is a celebration of the Patera standardised building system developed by Michael and Patty Hopkins in the 1980s. Revolutionary in its day, it allowed Hopkins to reimagine and develop new flexible typologies from office buildings to residential projects. Patty Hopkins will speak about what inspired the development of Patera and its potential to reimagine contemporary space.
Welcome, talk and building tours with refreshments.
6.30pm arrival for talk at 7pm, followed by building tours.

There are three underground stations within walking distance: Marylebone Station is closest (a five minute walk) and is on the Bakerloo Line. Baker Street Station is a ten minute walk and is on the District and Circle, Hammersmith and City, Metropolitan, Jubilee and Bakerloo Lines. Edgware Road is also a ten minute walk and is on the District and Circle and Hammersmith and City Lines.
