Activating Camden’s Disused Spaces

05 June 2024

18:00 -20:00

Join us for an evening at Camden Collective to discover the potential of meanwhile spaces in building community.

The Camden Green Loop is a democratic and inclusive neighbourhood strategy for Camden. A core principle of this strategy is "meanwhile use". We believe that transforming neglected spaces into active hubs helps meet local needs and revitalise the community.

We invite you to discover two of our flagship projects, Camden Collective and the Camden Highline. We are joined by architects and community organisations for a panel discussion on the potential of meanwhile use projects in creating vibrant communities.

18:00 - 18:30 Arrival
18:30 – 19:30 Introduction to Camden Collective followed by a panel discussion
19:30 – 20:00 Networking, refreshments and a chance to explore the Collective campus!

Panel Members:
Simon Pitkeathley, Camden Town Unlimited (Moderator)
Jan Kattein, Jan Kattein Architects
Tatiana Von Preussen, vPPR Architects
Alice Hardy, Global Generation
Leyah March, Camden Collective
