Talks and Debates

Be the change

18 June 2024

18:00 -20:30

Why is there so much talk and so little change? What if the barriers to change could be stripped away and we could really make a difference? And if so, what would we reimagine?

We’ll be asking some of the built environment’s most imaginative change-makers to share their own what-ifs and personal experiences of shifting the status quo in a fast-paced pecha-kucha format. Our speakers include Nimi Attanyake, Larry Botchway, Ben Cross, Chris Laing, Tom Larsson, Joe Morris, Ruth Oates, Camilla Parsons and Anna Woodeson. There’ll be plenty of opportunities afterwards to continue the debate, and ideas to inspire and provoke.

Please join writer Emma Keyte and leadership coach Rachel Birchmore, and our co-hosts at Buro Happold as we discover how to be the change.
