Blue; Beyond the Horizon is an architectural symposium taking place inside an immersive art installation.
The symposium brings together architects, curators, choreographers, artists and the wider public, to eat blue, drink blue, discuss blue and experience blue. It draws on the term “blue planet”, to investigate the themes of consumption of urban spaces, dusky, buried and poisoned landscapes, alchemy, zombie infrastructures and the immaterial, spiritual nature of genesis of commons. The project challenges and re-imagines methods and hierarchies within the production both of space and knowledge.
Blue; Beyond the Horizon aims to dissolve the boundaries between, performance and dinning, between dinning and an academic symposium, between knowledge producer and knowledge consumer, between learning and enjoying, between entertainment and communication, between focus and abandonment.
