Carve / Crease / Crimp / Colour: Artworks by Celia Scott & Stephen Greenberg in Dialogue

03 June - 14 June

11:00 -18:00

This exhibition brings together artworks of light and shadow in a dialogue between two artists who use quotidian materials to make their fragmented abstractions.

Celia Scott has fused her art practices in sculpture, painting and printmaking to create artworks based on materials that she fashions, and on to which she prints and adds colour to reimagine spaces and surfaces. By adding depth, Scott invites the viewer to question the nature of architectural space and to 'fill in' its missing pieces.

Stephen Greenberg works mostly by priming the ocean-forever-floating and landfill material Mylar, to create a new surface in, and on, to which he works to create a new life of its own. He uses foil blankets and card similarly, embracing the 3D nature of materials once themselves employed as packaging and wrapping, to create beauty from waste.

Open daily 11am to 6pm.

Vernissage and Finissage listed separately.
