‘Gone but Not Forgotten’ explores how photography can creatively reimagine visual relationships between collective memory, air pollution and transport in the built environment. Photographic storytelling shows the need for accessible infrastructure, transportation and public spaces within a city. The exhibition, aims to inspire and influence individuals, communities and policymakers to work towards creating a sustainable future. By visually highlighting the impact of air pollution and advocating for change, photographers can contribute to the push for more accessible urban environments. As a result, documenting the consequences of unsustainable practices and environmental change can have a powerful impact on public opinion and influence policymakers to enact positive changes. The exhibition is free and open, Monday to Friday,10:00 -17:00 (closed, weekends). It will be of interest to young people and adults wanting to learn how visual storytelling increases awareness of the possible effects of climate change in and around cities.
