Hackney Urban Survey #05 – Exhibition Opening

13 June 2024

18:30 -20:30

Hackney Urban Survey is a series of photography workshops and flash exhibitions run by MASS Collective. The workshop, open to amateur and professional photographers alike, explores Hackney’s rich and diverse urban fabric.

As part of LFA24, MASS invites all members of the public to see and discuss the work produced during Hackney Urban Survey #05 (8-9 June), which will focus on the relationship between the Olympic legacy and Hackney Wick. How has the Olympic project helped shape what Hackney Wick is today? What is the connection (or dis-connection) between this area of creatives and the developments driven by the legacy of the Olympic project?

More than twenty images produced during the workshop and curated into a coherent exhibition will try to answer this and other questions about the area and its future.

Exhibition Opening: Thurs 13th of June @ 6.30pm at 215 Mare Street. The opening will coincide with Studio Lates at Morris & Co.
