Listen, Liberate, Elevate: Empowering the Next Generation

12 June 2024

17:30 -20:00

Come and join us at BDP for an exciting in-person event focused on empowering the next generation to lead change in the built environment. We will empower young professionals by providing a vital platform to speak to current industry leaders and tell them what support they need to create the future they envision.

The event is divided into three parts:

PechaKucha Presentations: Nine young professionals, representing various disciplines will deliver dynamic PechaKucha presentations. An opportunity for their voices to be heard as they speak directly to senior professionals about their needs and ambitions.

Panel Discussion: A panel of established professionals from prominent organisations will engage in a facilitated debate and Q&A, responding to the innovative themes raised in the PechaKucha. Featuring Alison Brooks (Alison Brooks Architects), Sandi Rhys Jones, OBE, FCIOB (President of the CIOB), Del Hossain (Assoc. Professor of Architecture at UCL), and Tessa O’Neill (Head of Town Planning at BDP).

Networking Session: The event concludes with an informal networking session where attendees can challenge each other, over a drink or two.
