Join us for a midsummer evening that celebrates music, art and architecture brought together in the beautiful ambience of St Mark’s Church. A full evening of chamber music starts at 7.30, paintings created during the afternoon workshop will be displayed in the nave. and everyone can share experiences of the day over a glass of wine or a soft drink during the concert interval.
The event will end with a full performance of Brahms’s Trio in A minor Op.114 performed by Margaret Archibald (clarinet), Julia Desbruslais (cello) and Daniel King Smith (piano). All three musicians have toured extensively in concerts around the UK and internationally, can be heard on commercial recordings and on the BBC, love working in schools, care homes and the wider community and enjoy sharing their enthusiasm for music in their teaching.

There is a very small car park at St Mark's but it is not recommended for any audience members to attempt to use it for the concert. Drop off points and parking spaces are readily available in adjoining streets. Public car parks are available but only at a distance. Drop off at the church for disabled concertgoers should be arranged with the concert organisers.
