Painted Fabric Portraits of Fitzrovia

06 June - 27 June

13:00 -15:30

As part of the Design and Make Course with Linda from Camden Adult and Community Learning, four sessions in June will focus on Reimagining Fitzrovia.

Imagine flying over the rooftops of Fitzrovia. What would your perfect neighbourhood look like?

6 June: a Mindful Drawing session. Work with pens, pencils, mark making, and sketchbooks, to draw the buildings and botanicals of the Fitzrovia Community Centre Garden and local spaces.

13 June: explore gouache and watercolour paint techniques on different papers to expand on your initial drawings and thoughts on the neighbourhood

20 June: experiment with expressive. hand painting on fabric using the colours and marks you have been developing

27 June: design and make a fabric portrait of your perfect pathway. This can be a book, a hanging or anything you like

These workshops will take place every Thursday for the month of June. Spaces are limited and booking is required. Please note: all participants are required to complete a registration form before joining the class.

Brought to you in partnership with Camden Adult and Community Learning as part of our weekly Design & Make class.
