Write poetry? Then come and hear various ways local poets have used their imagination in the service of art. How did architects reimagine what was needed in Penge? And how do we interpret what they came up with?
Dr Chris O'Shaughnessy will give a short introduction to the topic. How does one write music for a poem? What forms might one use? Come and find out at Penge Poets: Reimagine. Erica Steencamp, Christopher Newland and Mikey Kirkpatrick will provide examples.
Last years winning poems will be read. Wine, soft drinks, coffee, tea and nibbles included in the entry price. Saturday June 15, Penge Library from 19.30, Tickets at £10 available from Eventbrite.
