We are living through a crisis in belonging - belonging to each other, our places/spaces and our planet. It is because of this disconnection that many of today’s crises exist. LFA’s proposition to ‘reflect, rethink, repair and rebuild - and re-imagine cities’ provides an opportunity to foster a sense of connection rooted in our understanding of Land and its relationship to home, nurturing and power.
Our event opens space for discussion to look at interconnected relationships of land with identity, ecosystems and systems of ownership on the journey towards understanding the impact of places and spaces on lives. This is set around a discussion with a diverse panel of speakers; Anna Pagani (from UCL), Nabil Al-Kinani (from Privatise the Mandem), Bushra Mohamed (from MSOMA Architects).
We invite collaboration on what land means to you and hope that you can join us on Saturday, the 1st of June 2024 13:00 - 14:30 as we embark on understanding how places and spaces can foster a sense of belonging.
