Come and see HLM Architect’s photography exhibition on how we have re-imagined key areas in Aldgate.
The exhibition will feature visuals, drawings and photographs on how we have re-imagined areas in Aldgate such as Algdate Square, Brick Lane, Spitafield Market, Trinity Square, Petticoat Lane, Lloyds building and surrounding areas.
This exhibition is for students, families and those who are interested in architecture, art and improving the built environment in their local area. On the day meet the architects behind the drawings and join in discussions on potential future uses of buildings and spaces within one of central London’s most diverse and opportunistic areas – Aldgate.
We hope that the exhibition will inspire London’s next generation of architects and placemakers and encourage communities to get involved in improving their local areas.
All sites will be reimagined against the Aldgate Public Realm Vision & Strategy:
“Establish Aldgate in its iconic location as a well-connected, cohesive community known for its intricate network of green spaces, and celebration of its unique artistic and cultural heritage”.
