The British Council micro-housing project proposes a way to rethink design using a methodology of optimizing and customizing design while avoiding the wasteless use of resources. This project attempts to reimagine how housing can be more affordable and catered to its users by using both expert generative design and robotic construction.
Come see the prototype of a micro-house unit built at 1:5 scale in extruded clay, sample at 1:1 of the concrete printed wall as part of the real micro-house and experience the prototype from the exterior as a large-scale model about 600 x 600 x 600 mm! Perfect for students, architects and anyone interested in sustainable design and materials.
Please note, the model does not allow access inside, and can only be experienced from the outside.
