The Travelling Drawing Club

08 June 2024

14:00 -17:00

The session begins with a club introduction, followed by sharing drawing techniques and idea tools before presenting prompts. Through the practice of sitting together we open up possibility to observe our surrounding, focus on making marks while having conversations about the subject: Reimagine.

We are interested in drawing as an activity and as a way to share ideas and to communicate. The Travelling Drawing Club works as an arena to meet, talk, draw and share.
We facilitate conversation. As we draw we are in close proximity to each other and in that way we create an intimate space to encourage the public’s engagement and participation with drawing, architecture and community.

Our goal is to spark community engagement, to share collaborative creative practice with the public. Drawing as a language and way of communicating ideas and thoughts.

You will receive a set of prompts and you have 1,5 hour to respond. To conclude the session we will group to share our findings and document our ideas.

Open to all ages, participants are encouraged to bring their sketchbooks and tools. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Join us for drawing and conversation, creating an inclusive space for artistic expression and dialogue.
