The UK’s oldest working brewery – Ram Quarter walking tour

12 June 2024

11:00 -16:00

See how the historic Young’s brewery complex has been transformed by Greenland into a buzzing new urban quarter – Ram Quarter – on a walking tour with EPR Architects. Find out how Grade-II listed buildings have been preserved for future generations and complemented with beautiful, contemporary design. Discover spaces previously shut off to the public and learn about the unique history of this special place – Britain’s oldest continuously operating brewing site, with a tradition stretching back almost 500 years to early Tudor times, and where beermaking still takes place!

Visits will discuss how the development has reimagined London’s industrial past. This is a story of reinvention, reflecting changes in how we live, socialise and spend our money.
