Jar-gone Conversations: Breaking Down Industry Jargon – Language, Community and Place

29 June 2024

11:00 -13:00

Join us for a panel discussion from our Thesaurus for Change series, where we delve into the impact of language in the architectural industry. In this segment panellists will focus on the theme of "Regeneration", its associated industry jargon, and its various meanings, exploring how it affects different individuals and communities.

We like interaction and audience participation - through interactive exercises and reflections, we'll uncover the diverse interpretations of these terms and their implications beyond industry use.

We champion accessibility of architectural language and share insights for more inclusive communication practices. We believe everyone can have a say on design. Our exciting panel will include a range of voices from established industry professionals and researchers like Nabil Al-Kinani to bright young minds from LSA’s Part 0 and LLDC Youth Group.

Don't miss this opportunity to contribute to the discussion and gain valuable perspectives on the power of words in design!
